James Byrne MD, PhD, earns a place on the Carver College of Medicine's Wall of Scholarship for a paper he authored in 2008: “Active targeting schemes for nanoparticle systems in cancer therapeutics.” To be admitted to this distinguished club, a paper needs to garner over 1000 citations on two of three indices: Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science. His paper has comfortably exceeded this milestone on all three. Dr. Byrne will be formally recognized in a ceremony on April 28 next year.
