An innovative upgrade to our departments MRI-Linac is featured as an Editor’s Choice article in Physics World. Following the introduction of Comprehensive Motion Management (CMM) to the Elekta Unity MR-Linac, the team noted the ability of the system to perfectly track target motion even during unexpected cardiac and respiratory motion. Equipped with the means to track and respond to target motion, in real time, is “fundamental to improving the accuracy of beam delivery and, in turn, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.”
